As a destination wedding photographer, I am so lucky to travel to some beautiful places. One place I always wanted to travel to is Greece. So when the Shootout Society approached me to conceptualize and plan an intimate styled wedding in the USA reminiscent of a European landscape, I took a European bucket list destination to one of my favorite cities in the US. We created a Palm Springs Wedding done with international flair right here in sunny California.

While trying to incorporate a Greece wedding theme for the modern bride, I knew the color palette had to be minimal with lots of natural and coastal inspired elements. We used lots of pearls, shells, drapery, and modern florals to bring in the theme. Of course choosing a location with a pool was a must to bring in a water element and a natural pop of blue to remind everyone of Greece.

Wedding details are beautiful and while I love modern wedding bouquets, vintage-styled details, and beautiful wedding destinations, there is one thing that is most important to me when I am photographing a wedding…My couples. It is so important to capture the genuine love between the two of you. I can pose you in the most beautiful and editorial way, but in the end, I love making the two of you feel comfortable on your wedding day. Afterwards, delivering a wedding gallery of photos that really tell your love story is what lasts for the years to come. If you are looking for a Palm Springs wedding photographer who understands how to capture your wedding day from an intentional and creative perspective, let’s chat!

The wedding industry is constantly evolving and as new trends emerge, I wanted to include some of them in this styled coastal inspired wedding. I am loving trends like ceremony draping, modern bridal bouquets, and pearls on everything! This unique bridal wedding bouquet was crafted of pearls and minimal, modern florals and it is a true statement piece. The serpentine tables were set amongst the trees for a perfect intimate wedding dinner and the moss and grasses at the ceremony site install is other-worldly. Not to mention, we had a one of a kind-cake adorned with real gemstones bringing ethereal meets modern. If you are looking for a documentary wedding photographer and a creative team of Palm Springs wedding vendors, I have linked everyone below, so look no further!

Planning a wedding can seem overwhelming but leave it to your perfect vendor team and book early so you don’t miss out on your dream team! While this particular wedding was a styled shoot meant to inspire engaged couples, the vendor team put in an incredible effort showcasing what can be done to make your Greece inspired elopement come to life right here in Palm Springs. I can’t wait to plan the next styled wedding for the Shootout Society in Miami this spring (we are using Spain as the inspiration for that one).
