If there is one place in the world at the top of my travel bucket list, it would be the French Countryside. We are talking Southern France, lounging poolside at a private villa, taking evening walks through lavender fields, and foraging for mushrooms to bring back for a nice al fresco dinner with the family over a home cooked meal and a glass of French wine. So I wanted to create a styled wedding that gave all the French countryside vibes. For the color palette I wanted to do blue and whites like that Blue Willow china that I remember being on my grandma’s china shelf.
I reached out to Olivia and Scott to model for this session and they were so excited to be a part of it. Honestly, I couldn’t have dreamt up a more perfect couple. I picked the dress and accessories for Oliva to wear and Scott had a suit to match so well.
I also had an amazing team of vendors to work with that really brought the vision to life with creativity. Right down to the macaroons, the lace parasols in the floral arrangements and the venue even had the cutest Highland cows!
Final Thoughts
Even though I wasn’t really in the French Countryside for this shoot, all of the vibes were there in the details. If you are planning a wedding and want a wedding photographer that does non-traditional wedding photos I would love to talk with you! Especially if you are getting married in a European villa tucked away in the lavender fields of Provence, France.
